Insulation Breakdown

Anybody experienced this: Message on the 'Dash' (Stark mobile) "Insulation breakdown please stand clear". My Varg with less than eight hours use did this and refused to go into gear again. I was stuck way out in the bush on a slippery track with no means of getting out. Luckily I had a mate with me on a KTM and the bike park owner came to the rescue and we loaded the bike up onto the back of a tractor and tied it there with rope and with some difficulty managed to get it out. I checked the battery cases and drive unit and can't see any sign of damage

Yes we had that, good job your phone did not fall out (they do) as you would not have got the warning although not sure what you are then supposed to do.
We had to chance it and go back to the bike and turn it off, after much messing about and my time we were sent a new drivetrain to change, more of my time stark seem to think I should give for free.
Our stark had a gen one drivetrain and the replacment was also gen one with supposidly thicker plastic cover, these are still going bad as is the gen two. £3100 if it goes again when the warranty is up.

Did you take a big hit or something or did it come out of the blue?

Good news the Varg is going now just needed a system reset
