Is it possible to add electrical accessories to a Starg Varg?

Thanks! It's got nearly 6K miles, I always rode it as fast as I could but no rock-garden stuff. I also correct minor damage as it happens and clean it with hot water, which really makes a visible difference imo. The local cops see the lights and dash unit and just keep on going. :)

I hope you have an after market skid plate for your Varg in those rock gardens. I have broken some fins off the battery in the gnarl with the stock skid. Just added the AXP skid very happy with it and plan to add some other protections JIC.

I'm sure it is fun to ride - that is the whole reason I pre ordered it. That doesn't mean it isn't badly designed or there aren't other options available.
My guess is that this isn't a bad design but a funky deliberate one. Stark is sometimes funky in its design decisions. They usually do the right thing or fix things forward but it usually takes a little customer jaw boning. And sometimes these funky decisions seem to unnecessary or don't win that much.

I can think of 3 off top of my head with Gen 1 bike:
1) Kickstand (how that ever got out-the-door on such a great bike I will never know)
2) Plastic Tire tubes (WTF)
3) Oil drain plug (I had a pretty big jawbone with them about sending me the new design)

All in all though super pleased with my Stark (and TBF their service is better than any other dirtbike I have owned plus the bike comes with a real warranty) and FYI my other 2 bikes are a KTM 300 2T and a WR450f both excellent, but I simply no longer ride them the Stark is that good and have mostly gifted them to my brother.

Agreed, especially about the tubes. Ofc ideally none of this would have happy but 1st model, new brand, ok.

But side stand, honestly, they're not exactly innovating with this, you don't even need any kind of equipment to test it, don't need a dedicated team, don't even need to turn on the bike. Like put the bike on the side stand and open your eyes, is it stable or not, does the angle look right?

So, so odd. I'm sure they can do basic geometry, maybe during development they changed something on the bike but did not think of any consequences on the side stand, if it had been approved before and then they forgot about it and somehow never tested it anymore before release? I would be really curious to get the story behind this.

It's a minor annoyance because there are easy fixes but this kind of oversight is incredible for something so simple on a bike that is so complex.

Well, small update. Got my VIN now! Looks like I get #130 EX!

Had an email exchange with sales about adding accessories. It was, of course, a waste of time. But they did make noises like they might take my list of reasons to reconsider their design for the future. Granted, they are probably just saying that to shut me up.

I called the local dealer to see if they could get me a wiring diagram, because I couldn't find any on the 'net. They were surprisingly confused by my request. Sent me a voice message a week later that they were still looking into it. Kind of weird for a service department to act like expecting them to have access to a wiring diagram for a bike they service was unusual. I don't expect that to go anywhere, but you never know.

Any of you super smart gents find a reliable way to tap in to the current MX for a light?

This is the closest thing I've found to an answer to your question.
