Issues after motor swap

I just had to swap motors in the Varg. On the first ride I took it to a small field just to make sure everything was good. After about 5 minutes at upper 80's air temp, I got a warning on the dashboard stating an issue with the water pump. The water pump is running. Water is circulating thru the radiator and I loosened the coolant drain bolt on the motor to check for coolant. I did prime the pump according to Stark's video, twice. So I'm stumped. What am I missing? What else can I check? Does anyone know where the temp sensor is located? The first time I powered up the bike I did have a flashing magenta light so it did do an update of something. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Sounds like you covered the all the bases. Have you called Stark? It wouldn't be the first time a issues occurred with the cooling system.

Yes, assuming you don't already have the G1 to G2 cooling conversion kit (part# SMX1-CL-G2-KT), order one and install it, basically self bleeding and fixes air in the system problems.

Waiting to hear back from Stark. AL, do you know what the difference is between the conversion kit pump and the Gen 1? So you think that's the issue? Thanks.

Here is that kit. It doesn't include a complete pump, just a different cover for it since there is one extra hose.

The new water pump and conversion kit fixed the issue. The conversion kit doesn't come with instructions and the rubber hose that's included is too short. Thanks everyone.

The kit I installed included a hose that WAS the right length.
I don't remember if it was possible to install the new water pump cover oriented incorrectly, but if so, that may be why the hose was too short?

The inlet and the outlet hoses would be impossible to connect if the cover were installed rotated.
