This new E-MX e-dirt bike from Chinese mfr Kove looks interesting. Deliveries supposed to be happening early 2024.

"60 kW motor, delivering up to 260 Nm of torque, and runs on a 96V and 60 Ah lithium-ion battery."

"270 km range"

Some more claimed specs in this vid below, at the 2:40 mark it says the bike weighs 99kg / 218 lbs, but earlier in the vid at the 0.43 mark the graphic shows a weight of 112kg / 246 lbs.

Just wait, we are about to get flooded with e-moto bikes in the next two years.
I think its already happening. I just wish it was a flood that included OEM (KTM, Yamaha, Honda, etc) offerings that are full sized, modern frames & geometry, KYB like suspension, 200-240 lbs, 50+ miles range of mountain single track/full moto race, priced at $10k or less. Like the Stark was supposed to be, but just a little less expensive since I'm dreaming, Lol.

And oh yeah, quick swap-able battery too. And an option of having 2 smaller quick swap-able batteries installed, or just 1 installed for lighter weight/better handling for the ultimate win.

Wow, didn't figure a Stark clone would show up this soon, early '24 availability ? Thats right around the corner.
Imagine a scenario where there's more of these in the hands of consumers than the genuine article ..
Realistically though, with a full size chassis, full size wheels & suspension .. & a 60Ah battery ; even 246lbs sounds like a stretch & Chinese suspension components have yet to prove themselves even remotely worthy.
If by chance the Kove bike were to be 218lbs with a 60Kw motor / 60Ah battery, it would be worth moving heaven & earth to get the suspension $orted out.

The bike is in no way a stark clone. Battery, Motor, Bodywork and Frame all look different. Please desist from being one of those guys.

The electric Kove is still presented at EICMA 2024 (did it move from Milan since last year ? 😆). Nothing new except it won't be released in 2024!

Interestingly they're also a CFMoto electric prototype at EICMA 2024, as the Kove it should be a full power direct competitor to the Varg. It's definitely not a rebadged KTM Freeride.

Sadly, release of these new EV machines might not happen anytime soon given the power sports business landscape in free-fall currently.

& why is it that only Surron has figured out that these LH rear brake configurations really need a dual piston caliper to perform adequately ?

This is the most interesting stuff at Eicma! CF Moto is basically KTM owned. It's happening. Kove is wise to not release the bike until it's ready.

Yeah I'm starting to think we will see more than Vargs and a couple of Honda CR-E at 2026 MXEP.

Thank you for the EICMA updates! I almost completely by accident wandered into that show 11 years ago and have wanted to go back ever since! Hope they still allow girls in miniskirts to straddle motorcycles!

According to rumors of people whom I know who go there, they still do. I could be there in like 1 hour, but I for one dislike those shows because basically a visitor spends one day drooling over awesome bikes that you can't ride and awesome girls that you can't date!
:LOL::LOL:
With the same money you can rent a gokart and have some real quick fun, instead of dreaming.
Just my point of view.

That Kove may not be a Varg clone but it has the same kind of frame: it's completed by the battery, which apparently also has a structural function.
