KTM wheel fitment

2mm out of centre does make it scrub the fork when going through the stroke with a 120 wide SM. Also with hard braking you can feel it pull to the side on tarmac.
With a 90 MX wheel in the sand it's a bit different story.

I paid someone to reallign the wheel so it's centre.
I measuered different KTM wheels and they all had the same ofsett as the Stark (within 0,5mm). Only 24MX seems to think is different.

The thin stark rotor throws the alignment out for a start.
Spacing and a linishing machine seems to be the fix
My recommendation is still, buy the correct wheel.

The thin rotor has nothing to do with it. In this case it should even help. For what it's worth i have the KTM rotor with it wich had the same problem. Furthermore i tried a KTM SM wheel and even that slid in fine.
This was a production mishap on 24MX side, but since i can't send them a picture of this wheel not fitting a KTM they won't do anything.

But for 60 euro's a local specialist did centre it properly for me so it wasn't all that exspensive. Still saves me 600-1000 euro.

yeagh i get that
I have husky wheels i could make fit.
A decent set of wheels here would set you back 4k
with brakes tyres and everything else ready to go,
as opposed to the quality wheels that come stock on a husky
at no extra cost.
I am not a fan of the stark stock rims tyres tubes or brakes.
Pity about the fitment issue that seems to be a anomaly.
60 euro wouldn't even fix the tubes here.

I had to deliver the wheel without tyres and i mount them myself.
I paid just under 700 euro for the SM set without tyres or rotors.
Had to spend just under 300 euro in tyres (Contiattack SM 2) and the Stark rotors/sprocket fit.

The wheels are basic quality as the wheel specialist put it. Not superb, but he didn't expect any issues with them if used without huge jumping or hitting putholes/sidewalks all the time.
Pretty much what OEM's put on their streetbikes. And well, that will do just fine for me.

I thought about the 24mx ones. 1000 euro is a great price, hopefully they last you a while. Also tried to buy some second hand, a little less than a 1000 euro but they didnt fit so I sold them further. In the end i couldn't wait for a second hand set to come up for sale so i dropped almost 2200 euro on a set of custom Haan wheels with tyres, all the hardware etc.

In the rear it was a perfect fit though.
Although i would have loved a 4.25 or 4.50 instead of 5.00.

Anyways i would like a tad less wide tyres because it's all very tight.

yea i went for 4.50 rear and put a 150 wide on it
