Old River Ranch, Hot Springs, Ruthenstroth Dam (but in early 1900 and blown up in 2001). Living the good life and I know it!

Nice I grew up there in the 60/70's. Couple of stoplights in town, .20 cent gas, skied, hunted or fished everyday after school. Gun "in-rack" in truck at school was common.
Cruised everywhere on Yamaha mini enduro->Hodaka 100 (super rat)->Husky 250XR. No speed limits out side the city limits. Clean living.

Does your star spangled redshift fit in the back of your Thing? (I'm thinking you might have a 1973 Thing and that a Thing might have a pickup bed configuration...)

enjoythesilence you are a good detective. I have had many VW Things while living in Hawaii but I do not have them now in Nevada. The last was a 73 lime green with a 2.0 from a 914 and also had the very rare Hawaiian 6 door. Just sold my side by side with trailer so the 79 Luv is the only way to shuttle the Alta for now.
Plan is to ship my 65 Ford from Hawaii to Nevada to use as a hauler.
