Lost keys

I've lost my keys to one of my Altas. Expectedly, the key to my other doesn't work. Anyone know what my options are?

Most Locksmith places here in the UK will cut you a new key if you take the barrel into them. Would have thought the same for the U.S.

I see it's been a while since you've posted, but I'm curious—did anyone end up trying to replace just the key cylinder instead of the whole ignition system? I was thinking of doing that myself, wondering if it's an easier route than messing with a re-flash or FOB pairing. Anyone have luck going the cylinder swap route?

I just brought my ID and bike info to the dealer, and they ordered a new key cut to the VIN. Took about a week, and I was back riding.

I went to a locksmith with my bike like @#76 suggested. I thought they’d assume it was stolen and refused, but nope. It was quick and cheap.

I had a similar issue a while back and ended up calling https://thelockdoc.ca. They were able to make me a new key even without the original—just needed the VIN and proof I owned the bike. Super quick and didn’t cost as much as I expected.
