That has bitten me as well, also the other way round. If you use crawl mode to lock the rear wheel and then have to turn it off under load with no throttle it will "unlock" pretty violently. So I do agree that should be an adjustable feature (percentage of throttle that still allows you to go into crawl mode) to be able to test what suits one best. Would be fun to go from 5% forward to instant lock rear crawl :muutt:

I think the same as well. But you and i are more experienced riders i guess. Stark cannot have new riders going from neutral, handfull of throttle and into gear.
It's a more complicated safety matter than you and i might realise at first. And maybe they will adjust it in the future. This is all new territory for dirtbikes so development hickups are kind of to be expected.

Thanks for report, Erwin. Always good to hear from real experience.

Isn't it weird that what this bikes needs the most is a bit of software development?
Compare that to 100 years of tinkering with base gaskets and jets and all that.

In which van did you manage to pack all that gear? 🤔
We have a Fiat Ducato L3H2 (6m long) wich is our combined MX van and basic campervan.

And yeah the bike is really good as is. And that my biggest criticism is on the nice to have features other bikes don't have is great.

Some more criticism/feedback:
You can adjust how long it takes to go gear-neutral after standing still. 15-60 seconds. I would like longer than 60 seconds, but for now it will do. However the settings reset themselves so it goes back to 15 seconds all the time. Software bug?

I had that issue from beginning on on my EX, but with the latest update it seems to have cured itself. Now when going into the timer menu it takes a second or two and then the saved settings are shown - looks like it is read from the VCU on not stored on the phone. Nevertheless my "lock bike" feature is broken now, so maybe you always have to exchange a working feature for a broken one to keep the balance 🤣
