Mxr won’t start

My bike sat for a month full charged . Now when you try to start it it says battery: neg conductor fail and it says this when u try to charge it . Anyone hear of this issue?

Neg contactor possibly?

Please try tapping on the top of the battery cover (its black) near the connector for HV. Possibly one of the contactors got stuck (this will happen if the battery pack has not been cycled). If you hear a soft click then that means one of the two contactors closed (one for Positive and one for negative).

Yes thank you ! Sorry for the miss spell .and it makes a click when u hit the start button.im going to try tapping on it . I had tried tapping the top of the battery on one of those higher spots probley the wrong area tho..

Banged on it for a while still haven't fixed it . Do I need to take the battery out maby to tap on it better?

That could work, or try hitting a bit harder with a rubber mallet.

May have to clear the code and open contractor in MultiTool (diagnostic tool) .
