My first love

I had bikes before, but that was just sex. But with this bike I had a real relationship. We spent a lot of quality time together and won many trophies.

After I got a hot new 2000 YZ250, and injured my knee on it, I was out for 12 years. Then I decided to rehabilitate my knee and go back to riding. This bike helped me again.

This picture shows us five years ago at my favorite track. Back then I transported my bikes inside this small SUV.



I raced it a little in 2013 and 2014. It is still quite a fast bike and with some clicker tuning could run with any modern 2-stroke.

That's a Dodge Stealth (aka Mitsubishi 3000GT). The same 1995 vintage as the CR250.
