Wow, this is quite the change in direction! I can see investing a larger percentage into hybrid and EV tech, but I didn’t expect them to just give up on ICE so soon.

Not exactly sure how accurate the article is, but it certainly signals a major redirection of resources toward electrification.

The auto industry seems to be in deep trouble. I think they already can't beat Tesla on either performance or price. Pretty soon the legacy auto makers will remain profitable only in the markets where there is no electric charging infrastructure. And in those markets nobody cares about having the latest and greatest ICE technology.
