Ha! Novi, MI. Very interesting. I think this guy may be related to an ex-Alta dealer in Novi.
I wanted to bargain with that dealer in November 2018, right after the bankruptcy, but they insisted at selling at MSRP and told me "Are you aware that we one or the only two dealers in Michigan?". But they were not aware than I had a motovan(!!!), was about to travel across the country, and could pick up an Alta anywhere along the way. Which is exactly what I did, in Ohio.

I bought my 2 MXRs from US27 Motorsports in St Johns, MI. (the very last of their Alta stock)
Seems MI is the hot bed of Alta availability.
