Open taillight

Since hardly anyone uses it because of the 3in1 indicators I try to get rid of the taillight.

Figured if I just desolder the cable inside the light it stays whole and I am able to rebuild everything. Or of it is connected to CAN maybe just keep the board with its higo connectors.

I took out the screws, used a cutter on the sealing and a heat gun ... nothing moves! Any ideas how to get this thing apart?

Its nearly impossible to open the taillight. And it is definitely impossible to salvage the board and connector+cables.

Its not just some glue whick makes it hard. It almost looks like Stark molded the plastic form into the aluminum. All the cables and about 8 mm of the board have been enclosed by solid pvc.

Luckily i had access to an already broken taillight. I didn't want to believe Stark uses CAN for its light, but here is the proof.
