Question about Stark charger 240v adapter: is neutral required?

Not sure if anyone can chime in, but from my understanding of all the previous posts. I should have no issue swapping the L14-30R plug that comes with the north american charger for a Nema 6-30p? My garage is already wired with Nema 6-30r recepticles which have 2 hot and 1 ground like OP said. I see the charger for the stark only has three wires so I'm assuming this wont be an issue. Im attaching the plug in question I was planning on switching it out with. 1772073424455.png

Correct, the Stark charger has only 3 wires, so you can definitely do what you want.
Just make sure you keep the ground wire connected to the ground terminal of your plug. The ground wire might be black and there might be a green wire that is not ground, that’s how the early charger cords were, so be careful with that.

If it’s the charger that comes with the bike, it absolutely does not use a neutral when it’s plugged into 240. If it’s the original MX, then they use the green wire on the cord for one of the hot legs and they use the black wire on the cord for ground ha ha ha ha so just keep that in mind. The charger can also plug into 120 V and then of course you use the green for hot the white for neutral the black for ground that was crazy but all of their old MX version 1 bikes were like that. When MX v1.2 bikes came out the cord cap was molded. I haven’t cut into a molded cord cap so I don’t know what they’re doing. hopefully they got their color codes correct later on. I haven’t cut into a molded cord cap so I don’t know what they’re doing lately.
