Rear hand brake - major fading, solution??

the screw heads are not perfectly centered in the rotor counterbores.
Try flat-head Torx screws - the tapered under-head sections should center into the rotor holes for a more even clamp & (hopefully) improved hole alignment.

Yuck! This is not great. I had enough bad experiences in my racing career with poorly machined parts to know this could cause trouble. There could be too much shear stress on one 6mm bolt that receives all the braking force. Keep an eye on these bolts to make sure they stay tight.
I've contacted nicecnc about the issue. Problem is this kit was for a KTM, so maybe the stark varg bolt pattern is slightly different?

I agree that if the screw head interferes with the c'bore such that more of the screw tightening torque goes to overcoming the head rubbing on the rotor c'bore friction, less torque will be applied to clamping the rotor to the hub. To your point, the screw would be "loose". I properly designed bolted joint has enough screw clamping force to hold the rotor in place without it moving. Once that rotor starts to move, bad things can happen. I tightened up those screws and will keep an eye on them.

Wow that's some crazy flat track rear brake. I know I faded the brakes on the Redshift in the short track race.

It's too bad the Varg doesn't have a regen throttle. It is great on my Sur Ron Light Bee with EBMX X-9000 controller. All the engine braking you could want without the fade and it puts power back in the battery.
I know right I love the Regen thumb throttle on my x-9000. Always use it and I also have a 72v 57ah battery that imo destroys the varg in range. I would never be able to get the range I do on my talaria with my varg even set at 10hp lol.
