Managed to break my EX's handlebar.
The stock one is Neken R00182.
I won't be able to find it locally.
Any recommendations for a Rental or Protaper? These are everywhere.

I like the geometry of the stock handlebar, so it shoudn't be too far off.

Thanks.

I have two pair sitting in the garage that I’ll never use because I put Flexx Bars on. If you want to pay shipping, I’ll send it to you.

I really appreciate it!
Just purchased a new Protaper handlebar locally. If it won't be comfortable, I'll reach out to you.

Thanks again.

Any time brother. I’ve tried a few different bars, and the flex bars are the best I’ve ever put my hands on. I have the 10°, MX 12° MX, and 10° Enduro high. I prefer the 10° MX. Just a great set of bars. Are you local, I could loan you a set to give them a try.

I'm from Israel. Renthal and Protaper dominate the handlebar's market here. Got one of the taller bars (called Protaper KX high). Will install this weekend.

Which Flexx bars most closely match the geometry of the Neken R00182 ? Did you have to relocate the display?

I don’t know which one matches nekken, but if you call Flexx Bars, they’re very helpful and would probably have that answer. I’ve changed my mind about the 10° and really dislike them now. The 12° works much better and doesn’t hurt my hands like the 10° started doing.
You can put the display in the crash pad on top of the bars or like I did put it underneath the bars using the same cushion mount and zip ties.

flipped the bike and smashed the dual sensor Hirschmann throttle and LCD. Cracked the glass: still had backlight and bike still worked but no graphics. Looks like the microprocessor chip also drives the graphics and i suppose it popped only that portion of the chip, cuz soldering in a new LCD had the same symptoms. No flashing that chip w/o code mandated replacing the entire PCB. Relocated replacement display below the handlebars for the next time the bike flips. Just can’t see the display w/o stopping. Will fab my own “Alta Vault” since they are no longer available. Replaced the Nekken R00182 bars with Flexx 15 degree “high” as per their recommendation. It (sort of) approximates the Nekken. It weighs significantly more. Prefer the Nekken complex shape and light weight and more room to hang accessories. Surprised to observe that I cannot detect any “flex” riding whatsoever. Will call them to see if they have softer polymers.

I like to 12° bend but I agree there’s not enough room to mount stuff on the handlebars. I wish they would improve the design but I do like the bars.
