Strange that they don't even mention that Alta is out of business though. I would imagine a lot of people that are not familiar with Alta that read that article (how many will that be?) will google Alta and be wondering what the heck?

I wish that would make what im Trying to do much easier, that and i wish i had all the schmatics also.

I can’t help but think somebody has those files, as well as the code. I just wish they would slip them to us.

Another interesting note, Alta‘s name used to be BRD and coincidentally they were bought by BRP.

I love Solidworks for prototyping and analyzing assemblies, but for modelling parts with complex curves it is very difficult to work with, Rhino would be much easier to model a part like the shrouds.
