I'm not sure you understand what haptic means. On every other bike I've ever owned, when you press the indicator switch, there is physical feedback - a click, snap, or something similar - that lets you know that, yes, you have successfully pressed the indicator button. That's haptic feedback. I don't have to look down to my dashboard to know that my turn signal is on because I felt the switch through my finger.
On the EX, there is no feedback, and because the indicator switch is so poorly designed, it's impossible to be sure that you've actually started signalling without looking down at the phone screen. Approaching an intersection is the most dangerous time on the road, and having to take my eyes off of what's in front of me to verify that I've hit the switch correctly, and then having to repeat if it didn't work the first time, adds unnecessary risk to riding in traffic, and is a problem that every other manufacturer has solved.
