Appreciate the insightDash gauge is smartphone based. You can even add a card and activate and use as your phone. Assume it will have GPS, gyro etc. built in like all smartphones. Varg has said their will be all manner of ride statistics available including "air time", so probably some other neat stuff. We don't yet know if one can use/run other apps while phone is clicked into cradle or if doing so locks out all other apps while its running in "dash gauge mode".
Which bars are you using? The twisted engineering bar? I've really wanted to try the new level 4 flex but I'm scared they will break to easily, I've seen so many examples of them snapping on people in the middle of the woods. I rode a really rough woods track yesterday and my elbows and wrists got beat up so bad. By the end of the day I was hurting.Hope the phone interface is wireless as I run a carbon composite flexible handlebar set-up ( reconstructed rotator cuff & left wrist ), the system requires a proprietary top clamp which allows for bark busters. Hoping the phone can go in a backpack.
Or .. I'll have to reengineer something if thats not possible.
