Hi everyone,

Has anyone installed an 11T front sprocket on the Stark Varg EX?

Did you notice any difference in battery range compared to 12T?

I would try a 14 first
Ironed out my range problem and makes the front easier to loft as well
I have a mx1 though I am not sure if the reduction gearing is the same.
Erwin should be pretty much on the money with this one.
Make sure to put some sealant on the sprocket cover bolts I have heard water can get in there.

I have a MX1 as well and have the best allround results with a 14 up front. 15 moves the engine brake up too much and gives it less of a boost.
I'm now on a Hard Enduro trip and doing some trial with it as well. Here the 14 is a bit too big and i wish i thought of it sooner because the 13 or 12 would add a bit more hp down very low.

Here i have not yet drained my battery within a day, but if i reach 40km/h top speed here it's getting pretty extreme. Average speeds are in the low double digits and sometimes in the single digits.

My rear sprocket is a 47
I run mostly higher speed offroad or mx
some high speeds too 131.9 kmh at the top of billys ridge.
Going to a 14 I found it had a slight push wide effect
and some windup in the rear suspension,
but i got used to that straight away.
I turned the regain down to 14 percent.
I am testing the bike in the mx2 race mode now ,it went well
Next test will be the same with a 15 front sprocket.

If you reach those kind of speeds a lott you might want to move to the 15.

Keel in mind that Stark uses the engine rpm for speed. So if your top speed over there looks to be the same you're actually going faster.

You will also notice there will be more engine braking with a bigger sprocket so you will want to go down even further.

I do not use the dash for data.
We have other tools.
For some reason it is not giving me ride data when it is set in race mode
and it seems unreliable anyway.
jd has schooled me on the gearing about the engine brake
I am a bit worried about wheelspeed in the slower corners but I will try anything to get this thing going.
It has come a long way since day 1 that's for sure.
Any ideas on bars the bends ok I just smashed mine and brake pads
I am burning the rotors again would be nice.

Higher gearing doesn't really gives problems at lower speeds. Just at Trial like crawling it misses a bit of RPM/flywheel to make enough power for the explosion onto a rock at 2 km/h. But that is at no concern to you.

I use the Stark bars on everything now. I like the bend and flex. They just tend to bend a bit quicker, but since they're quite cheap i can live with that (tip, the EX handlebar is the same + some small holes, but cheaper than the MX).

Hi guys, my friend and i both have the EX and last week we buy the 14T sprocket form stark website (on the MX model paragraph, on EX model you only can choose de 12T)

So we change from the stock 12 to 14, and In comparison, when I was going from my house to his house, I normally used 9% at normal speeds, with the flow of traffic. Yesterday I tested the 14T and it used 5%, so I have noticed an improvement in consumption. In any case, according to what I was talking to chatgpt about and doing some calculations, the bike could use more battery power from 80 km/h onwards. Range is reduced at high speeds, and also during strong acceleration.

These tests were done by loading the bike to 100% and seeing how it went down.
