I'm curious. As a previous alta mxr owner, I know there was/is a vin number registry on the forum. Does anyone know where stark started the vin number and which bike we have? I bought a demo model from my dealership and they were one of the first dealerships to get one. I'm just curious on how many bikes were sold/made before mine. Thanks.

Check this thread

digits 1-3 World Manufacturer Identifier: UDU for Stark Future
digits 4-8 Vehicle Descriptor Section: MX1AE, MX1A presumably stands for the Varg, digit 8 for motorisation, E for electric?
digit 9: check digit
digit 10 Model year: N is for 2022, P for 2023, R for 2024 (2023-2024 cutoff around 3000)
digit 11 Plant identification: A, their first and only factory so far is in Sant Boi de Llobregat, just outside Barcelona
digits 12-17 Serial Number: latest US VIN in the 8800 as of October 2024 so production likely about 10 000.

Serial numbers do not have to be sequential but with most manufacturers they are and AFAIK that's the case for Stark as well (good agreement with production numbers, batches of 20 sequential numbers sent to dealers and so on).

Anton said in a recent range test video that one of the bikes in the test was VIN 8.
I have VIN 492. I'm thinking there have been some 10000 produced by now.

Mine's still pending shipment to California. I purchased directly from Stark Future. The VIN they sent to me is, 8036 but I haven't seen it in person yet.
