I would say it is an intriguing prospect to see more players get into the game but as ever, the industrialization remains to be seen.

The Stark Varg is technically impressive but the speed at which they've built their factory, ramped up to an annual production capacity in the 10 000s and built a dealer network in the meantime is an amazing feat. Even with delays in deliveries and QC issues, in my opinion the logistics and production scale up has been uber impressive.

CCS is awesome news, but if you use a European 3.5 kw wall socket you need, in theory, 105 minutes to recharge 6.3 kw.

I've also noticed that they use a linkageless system for the rear shock, with the progression apparently obtained because of the tilt of the shock and supposedly progressive damping. Looks PDS like.

You're right, it could be something like 20% to 80%. Anyway until it's released and tested in the real world it's just a manufacturer's claim.

Yes, I've read this test report [edit: i.e. the one already linked by Beagle] and watched this video:

and they say that those specs are for a 20-80% recharge. Besides, usually charging the last percentage, like from 90 to 100, needs to be done at a slower rate because it's harder to keep the cells balanced and not overcharged. Even the Varg with 3.3 kw charging slows down from like 96% or something like that.
Here is some more information from the report and the video:
• the power of the CCS is 18 kw
• the swappable battery weighs 40 kg
• from the pictures, the battery seems to be placed on top of the inverter: on a bike that you need to pick up in the woods I would have expected a center of gravity as low as possible; on the other hand, considering that it needs to be extracted from top, this makes more sense
• from the pictures, it looks like the inverter is liquid cooled but the motor is not
• the fork is branded Showa and the shock Ohlins
• the whole bike, if I have understood correctly, is rated IP68, which means complete protection against dust and protection against continuous immersion
• it has been tested by NATO armies
• like expected, talking about stealth use purposes, its heat signature is way lower than the one of a gas bike; I have discussed it a little here.

I'm not a woods rider, but this looks like a pretty cool bike for that purpose. The price is pretty high, though.
