Sur Ron Dedicated Section

I recently found this site to get up to speed on all things electric dirt bike. As I have settled in and decided on an Ultra Bee (ordered from Alibaba and on the way), I find myself wishing there was a good forum for them in this style. There is a facebook group but I frankly hate facebook groups compared to this style of forum

If whomever runs this site sees this - any thoughts on making a Sur Ron section to have some dedicated threads to their bikes? I was contemplating setting up my own site, but why bother when one is out here already.

I see this has been moved to the "play/small e-motorcycles" section. I don't think the Ultra Bee or Storm is in that category, but OK.

It appears that you yourself created this thread under "play/small e-motorcycles".

Yes, we could probably have a Surron section here. Fast and even competitive electric dirt bikes keep popping up in all kinds of sizes.

I am thinking of adding Dust Moto too.

Give me a few days.

I also bought an Ultra from Alibaba. Took a few months to actually get it, but it all Worked out in the end. What I thought was gonna be a cheap, needing constant repair bike turned out to be bulletproof. Our local series has Ultra Bee MX and Hare Scramble classes, myself and my kids have beat the shit out of the ultra with zero problems. I currently have 600 miles on it, the owner of the local track/series promoter has 2 of them with over 2k miles on each, also trouble free.

Yeah, I hear you on that — Facebook groups get messy quick compared to a proper forum. For what it’s worth, I actually grabbed my Ultra Bee through UsedRideZone . com in Springfield and picked it up last month. Way easier than rolling the dice on Alibaba shipping (that could’ve taken months to land 😅). Having a dedicated Sur Ron section here would be awesome though — there’s a ton of good info that gets buried in FB feeds, and it’d be great to have it organized thread-style.

I purchased mine from Alibaba as well. Cost me 4950 shipped to my door in IL that includes all taxes and fees. Took less than 60 days from purchase to arrival, but that part can be very variable and you have to be patient.

I bought mine from GONPED. 2025 Ultra Bee Carbon Black 21kw 74v 60ah Sur Ron Electric Dirt Bike Motorbike Motorcycle Surron 21000w Brown Ultra Bee - Buy 2025 Ultra Bee ultra Bee 21000w 2025 Ultra Bee Carbon Black 21kw 74v 60ah Sur Ron Electric Dirt Bike Motorbike Motorcycle Surron 21000w Brown Ultra Bee Product on Alibaba.com

For the process, you have to click the "Send Inquiry" button and ask about pricing shipped to you. They give you a total price, then once you agree, you have to pay half (I think), then later they send you a video of your actual bike (time varies, sometimes they are waiting for them themselves) and you pay the remaining half after you see the video and confirm its the bike you want. Then they put it on the slow boat from China and it goes to a port in CA. Finally, a local shipper picks it up and gets it to you. The local shipper contacts you to schedule shipment. Its not UPS or FedEx.

Again, the timing varies, but for the most part reliable from what I have seen on various forums and groups.

Some other details:

Be sure you say you want the USA charger.

You have to pick your color, Black or Brown

You can pay more and get one with the light kit that can be titled for street use.

If you want a certificate of origin so you can title it locally, you have to pay extra. They send you a PDF you have to print out. I asked after I received the bike and sent the PDF after I gave them a picture of my VIN. If you ask up front, maybe they send a paper copy, I don't know.

I don't think there is any path to warranty, but the bikes are solid so I am not worried about it.

Here's a pic of mine after adding a 21" front wheel, adding gummy tires and Tubless, handguards, warp 9 aluminum throttle tube , lock on grips, a 50t rear sprocket and new chain.

I will say I its fun, but I like riding my 2025 Beta 200 more and this is a backup or alternate weapon. I am contemplating selling it.
