Use a Trail Tech Ride Computer Instead of the App!

The ride app sucks. Inconsistent ride recording and the statistics are wrong because the speed/distance sensor is based on motor RPM, not the front wheel rotation. When the rear wheel loses traction and spins, the app thinks you're going faster and when the wheel locks up it thinks you're stopped. It isn't even calibrated properly for my 18" tire and reads slower than actual speed by roughly 5%. The ride distance, average speed, and max speed numbers are always incorrect, so I bought a Trail Tech ride computer and mounted it to the front wheel. Buy the KTM version, the sensor screws into the front brake caliper housing using the included threaded hole and there is a special hole in the front disc for the magnet+circlip. Now I have proper ride data and an ODO that works!

How good are the trail techs, I have a vapor version on my husaberg 510.
I put a small gps speedo on my ev bike as I need to keep odometer reading on going from dash replaced for law makers here In Australia.
See pic I wish the gps lead wasn't like 2m long.
