I ordered my Stark EX with soft suspension. But when I got it and tested it for the first time, it seemed too stiff to me.
There is а document from stark (in attachments) for identification of the Varg suspension. But I did not find such a document for EX. I asked SAM )) about this. The answer was this:
To identify the suspension springs on your Stark VARG EX, you can look for specific markings or identifiers on the suspension components:
I decided to check what letters are on my bike. To my surprise, they were the letters C and F, and not the ones Sam told me, moreover NOT EX, but the first generation Varg!
Question for EX owners. What letters are on your bikes???

Forks
- Identification Letter:The forks have a letter on the left fork foot that indicates the spring rate:
- H = 4.4 N/mm (65-75 kg) - Soft
- J = 4.6 N/mm (75-90 kg) - Medium
- K = 4.8 N/mm (90-100 kg) - Hard
Shock
- Identification Letter:The shock has a letter on the bottom bracket that indicates the spring rate:
- H = 46 N/mm (65-75 kg) - Soft
- J = 48 N/mm (75-90 kg) - Medium
- K = 50 N/mm (90-100 kg) - Hard
