Varg rider considering YZ conversion for less weight

Buy a surron light bee, super fun fo trails like you are describing, light and easy to manage, great bike to build skill and they are super cheap now.

You may also wait some months and see whether Donut Lab really has solid state batteries. In that case, maybe some months from now it will be possible to use them instead of the more traditional ones with liquid electrolyte.
Some of this has been exceedingly skeptical, taking aim at Lehtimäki’s resume and his role in such other startups as Asilab, which claimed in May to have developed "the world's first true artificial superintelligence." Lehtimäki has offered responses along the lines of “just watch” in LinkedIn comments but did not answer an email requesting a comment on those criticisms.

So, have they first created superintelligence and then asked it to design a functional solid state battery? All this sounds too good to be true, to me.
Thanks for this, now I have adjusted my expectations.
And welcome to this forum.
In theory, the Verge bikes equipped with solid state batteries are going to be delivered some weeks from now, though. We will either soon find out for sure or they will say that there have been some delays.

Depending on the Hare Scramble, but a lightbee is not really a powerhouse. An Ultrabee might be an option on the light power end of things though.

Bummer the build process is fun, another bike in the quiver never hurts.

Oh I'm sure I'll still be building (for me) at some point when time and space allows. I've come far enough just putting in hours of research reading here etc. I don't do facebook and don't really use marketplace but I started finding plenty of good candidates with blown motors for pretty cheap there. So if I had the space to work on a project when time allows I'd probably just start it but I can't have stuff sitting taking up space in the 2 car garage.

I have talked myself into going ahead and building a 65 conversion for my kid. I do want him to learn clutch and shifting but right now he would never get to ride a gas bike but a handful of times per year. Rides the electric E5 he's on now just about everyday.

Probably will start a build thread here and get help along the way from this great community.
