Manual only says ethylene glycol. But there are many types and some cannot be mixed. Mine is a little low so can't see the color but what should i be using?

Just standard green Prestone.
Any 50/50 you would use in any other motorcycle is fine. If you change it, let the pump run while you add coolant. The pump can run dry for weeks, don't worry about damaging it. Let the pump circulate the fluid as you add it. Then, I recommend that you take a short ride and check it again, adding more coolant as needed. If the pump becomes noisy (cavitation) add more coolant.
