Stark Varg power usage chart question

I run my varg around 45-48Hp 95% of the time. I noticed on the stats tab if you scroll down it shows your actual power usage chart. On my chart I don't see any point of the ride where I used over 25Hp. The main thing I am curious to know is if I am saving any battery by running at a lower Hp vs. using a higher Hp setting more gently. Obviously the potential to utilize more power at higher throttle positions is there. My gut tells me this chart is wrong as when I go up hill climbs I am pushing it to the limit. I saw someone trying to explain this on another thread where it takes a certain speed to utilize a higher Hp. Now I am really confused as I thought the power curve of an electric motor was quite flat. Anyone care to explain this?

The torque curve is flat.

The power curve is not flat. Power is torque * speed. If the torque stays flat and the speed is growing, the power will be increasing. The power grows linearly up to a "knee point". After the knee point, the torque starts dropping and the power stops growing and becomes flat. Soon after that, both the torque and the power drop fast.
