I traded with George with a new KTM 250 two stroke. Nice bike. It was a work out though maintaining throttle control in the washboard bumps. Gave me arm pump. No LHRB, which also sucked.

George of course thought MX019 was awesome. He thought it felt as light as the KTM. He wants one.

yup, the Alta is better. IMHO.
Maybe George’s too.

no one understands until they ride one. no distractions(noise, clutch, shifting, stalling, etc.). battery technology will improve and range will get longer, weight will come down and power will go up and if they standardize batteries you can swap out like bbq grill tanks in less than a minute. in the early 1900's there were gas, electric, diesel, and steam powered cars. gasoline won because of power, range and convenience. recently we have tried gasoline, turbo diesel, hydrogen, electric, bio diesel and elec/gas hybrid. elec/gas hybrid seems to be most peoples choice. the thrill of instant power and all that torque along with the convenience of a gas engine for longer trips is enticing. electric isn't ready to dominate the marketplace yet but hybrids are showing people that electric is cool it still just needs a little help. patience my friends....hey I never thought I would see legal marijuana in my lifetime but here we are.
