MXR charging issue

First time I've had this happen, plugged MXR in to charge using my normal charger, says charging but never charges the battery. No fault code or anything. Tried it twice, same deal. This is the first time I've used the charger on my bike in a while (usually use the slow charger on my son's mxr) I just put it on the fast charger to see what happens. Battery is 2/3 full as that's how I usually store it but I planned on riding it tomorrow. Any ideas? I'm stumped.
 
No on firmware. It's on the original release (this is the first MXR sold. Everything looks normal. Says charging but no increase in battery on display. GFCI and all that working properly, blinking red light for currently charging on charger etc. Everything other than no increase in battery on display is normal.
 
45 min on the fast charger and same thing. No increase in battery display. Everything clicks on like it always has but no increase on the display. Still no warning lights.
 
Just took it for a quick rip in map 4 up and down road to see if the battery level would change. Yep drops down and shows it's working. Still no fault code of lights. This one has me puzzled for sure.

I have a P3 P4400 Kill A Watt Electricity Usage Monitor. It’s a simple plug in monitor and costs less than $20, several HW supplies sell it. It reports, voltage, current, power factor, etc... point being at least you would know if the standard charger is drawing ~11.4 amps when charging or not. I just checked mine. When plugged in, about 0.12 amps, turn key & run switch on, wait till display indicates charging, current goes up to ~13 amps then drops to a steady 11.4 a few seconds later.

I will try and find one local tomorrow and if not I'll order one. Need to ride my kids MXR and drain it some (it's full now) and see if the chargers are the issue or my bike. Hard to believe two chargers go bad at the same time.
 
Maybe your electrons are stale. You should find some nice, organic, gluten free, fresh-picked, solar electrons from a reliable local vendor, or harvest them yourself with a nice roof garden array.

Welp, same issue again this morning....wtf. I have noticed that the fast chargers fan doesn't come on when it isnt actually charging it. This is the first problem I've had and its pissing me off quickly.
 
As for the kill a watt monitor, that will work fine for my 110 slow charger but my fast charger runs off 240 (I had a dedicated 240 outlet put in my garage for this). Its only charged once on 240 and not at all on 110.
 
If you have MT you can plug into the bike while charging. That can show any errors/data while running. Sounds like a dccp issue. Is the green ground wire torqued down on the right side of the bike? Also check all the connections for the switchgear.
 
I dont know what MT is. The switchgear is all good. Everything seems normal (clicks noises etc) when it says its charging on it doesnt charge. Now I have noticed that the fan on the fast charger doesnt come on when it's not actually charging the bike but when it did charge it last night the fan was on.

Right, kill a watt only works for 110 vac, but it’s sounding like a bike issue not a charger issue.

And all the monitor is going to do is tell you if the current draw makes sense relative to the feedback the display is telling you. I think the fact the fan isn’t turning on means you hear the relay pull in, but a contact isn’t making contact.
