No because engine brake and actual brake do the opposite for your rear suspension and squad.I'd love for the regen to be controlled from the rear brake lever. And then to get rid of the rear brake completely.

That's an even better idea!I'd love for the regen to be controlled from the rear brake lever. And then to get rid of the rear brake completely.
This is a very important point that no one ever mentions. No because engine brake and actual brake do the opposite for your rear suspension and squad.
This is a good idea, but you can adjust the timer settings, especially if riding on the road.I'd like the phone to beep or make some kind of noise when it times out and switches to 'neutral' at an intersection.
Yeah but only for so long and it's very annoying. I want to have the option to turn it off. This is a good idea, but you can adjust the timer settings, especially if riding on the road.
Most red lights last longer than the max setting, which is absurd. I would like to be able to set it to 10 minutesThis is a good idea, but you can adjust the timer settings, especially if riding on the road.
I just bought an electric motion and it came with a small lever that is attached to the clutch lever that does exactly that. It allows to use engine regen just like a brake. It is great to modulate and given enough space it brings the bike to a stop but not as effective as the foot brakes.I would love to see a way to control regenerative braking in real time. Regen is great, but sometimes I want it strong, other times I don't want it at all.
I want Stark to release a mod to make the foot brake into a regenerative brake controller for those running the left hand rear brake setup.
If Stark were to make this an option, I'd install it immediately.

great points about the map switch.......Let me begin with that i love the bike. But some things can and should be better. It's the most premium bike i've ever owned, but some stuff feels really Aliexpress.
- Ditch the phone dashboard. Too many times it didn't work properly on both the MX1.0 or the Demo EX's. Also it's way too easy to steal if you park it and MX pants don't have pockets so you end up walking around with the phone in your hand like some teenage screen addict.
- Handlebar buttons that press a little deeper so you have better feedback that you actually did push the button and it was not stuck (wich it does from time to time, might as well fix that while at it).
- Fast charging with more chargers parallel.
- An onboard mountable charger. Doesn't need to be full 3,3kW if that's too big. Just something that can be mounted or dismounted on the bike and has some charging power to get you going or charge over night/work.
- Some storage space. We can't even store our car keys let alone some tools. There is plenty off free space under the seat, now some way to use it.
- Less sharp grips to lift the bike. The bike is not a lightweight and the stand is high. To make the lifting points sharp is just to torture riders.
- Ditch the centerstand. Noboby who owned a Stark over a week liked the thing and almost everyone build the charger into something else. Safe yourself and us some money and the enviroment some garbage that will never be used... just forget about it. It's just too heavy to move around frequently.
- The charge cap is annoying and delicate. It falls apart all the time and requires very subtle movements. Something that cannot be expected from people who just gave it their all on the track. The MX 1.0 Gen 1 had a wonderfull cap that worked just fine.
- Speed sensor in the wheel. Now changing gearing puts everything off and the EX is geared way too short for street riding. Just put a speed sensor in the front wheel and everything is fixed (even rear wheel if you must). At least KTM and Beta use it as well so no excuses about some regulations.
- The sidestand still sucks and feels like it's gonna tip over or snap all the time (wich it both does from time to time). Look at any Enduro brand and do what they do. There are some Chinese options that work wonderfull, might just buy their design? I do buy it anyways because i like my stuff to work.
- Some more back-up would be nice.
If the buttons get stuck or broken there is no way to get the bike going. We have a big fat screen on our handlebar. As long as we have that we might as well get some use from it. Give us a override emergency page to overrule the switch.
- Another in the back-up category. If the phone breaks, gets lost, stolen (see point 1) etc etc you're pretty much blind. Make an app for Android and iOS that can at least look at the battery percentage and map settings. No need to change it perse if that's too hard. I just want to know if i need to charge and what map settings i run.
They have implemented a solution like this to participate in FIM championships (World supercross, EnduroGP, Hard Enduro World Championship). After an incident in the weekend's race, my idea for a new function would be to utilize the built-in accelrometer to switch the bike into neutral when I crash, and the bike lies flat on the ground. One of my crashes was with the twistgrip down between some rocks, and when I lifted it up (using the twistgrip as my lifting point), I somehow managed to twist it a little, resulting in the bike flipping backwards with me as a terrified spectator
Nothing bad happened, but if one of my competitors had passed me at that very moment, I would have sent the bike directly at him.
This function must of course be configurable. Measuring that a bike falls down and stays down laying flat should be very stright-forward with the electronics in the motor controller (or in the phone).
