Box full of horn parts... Jesus. It is probably time for Stark to move their operations to Asia and save the Euro middle man. At least then it will at least come with unreadable instructions.
The last 3 shipments of things I have ordered from the Stark store haven't made it to me. They can't...
I don't want a clutch and see little need for it even if it was cheaper. The great advantage of electric motorcycles is the precise control of the power without mechanical ICE like interference. The kludge of ICE tech is the fact it can't be controlled at all levels and it has to be disengaged...
Sidebar2: Do you have PDS on the rear of your 300? I have found the Stock Varg MX way better in gnarl than the my 2020 300xc-w, especially log and rock hops (PDS behavior is just too unbalanced). I am lighter in weight but I like my suspension stiffer than most. I use my MX exclusively for...
Using the level hole is better than documentation which can contain errors or be wrong. Oh and BTW SAM uses what is in the documentation and will mime an error since he is a mime and everyone knows mimes make lousy service techs... :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
Did you find any components on the Stark lacking grease? The last bike I disassembled pre-riding was my 2014 Yamaha WR450F and all the grease-ables were well greased. I had Yams and KTMs after that and did not disassemble. I never had problems, but it is probably is still a good practice.
I notice slightly more noise on my MX with the new recommendation for chain slack (~2" at the slider).
Also, as a side note, I do a lot of slow gnarl riding with my Varg and the new level of chain slack does slightly impact the throttle response at low speeds.
Stark is a somewhat typical European motorcycle company. Great innovation and ideas but often with an overreach attempt at clever and over-engineering on the unimportant. Generally there is also a mediocre capability to deliver consistently and often it is those attempts at clever which cause...
Sorry you are having issues. Did you have these bikes directly shipped or did you go through the dealership for purchase? The dealership I bought my Starks from assembled and tested my bike before I received them and took care of some paperwork hiccups was well. They made sure I got what I...
I also think the internet is a poor barometer of the reality of what is really occurring. People who have problems post, folks who don't have problems often don't post. So the information is not really correlated to the actual product results.
Defect rates could be extremely low and my guess...
Haha I think the results in building a place like Naxos with a blanco cheque work out better though.
When my uncle passed away one of my aunts who was tasked with cleaning up his place complained that there were old metal part strewn all over his backyard including a rusted out old motorcycle...
@tymck7 Did Stark log into your bike and troubleshoot or did they say powertrain just from your explanation? I wonder if the dealership even checked the connectors as @AbnormalWrench suggested and test or if they just go ahead and follow Stark's troubleshoot.
No harm in getting a new...
Haha you are a young buck again!!!
Agree on the Pirellis, they are remarkably good. For my riding I am going to use a more gummy like the IRC jx8 gek when the Pirellis are worn out, but it is worthwhile to wear through the Scorpions in my opinion --they are pretty good in most terrain deep mud...
100% right. I wonder what the underwriter used for benchmark data? There must be a good amount of metrics compiled from our bikes. Warranties on dirtbikes especially machines that are largely used by early adopters are incredibly risky --unless they are not.
One thing that might be is that the...
