Must and need to keep Arkenstone in cradle - theft prevention solution?

Yes you do. She is a smoking hot Stark. Hopefully she won't be a finicky bitch and give you many nice sweet rides...:ROFLMAO:

Stark varg support is the worst

When most of those 450s are used as trail bikes or almost anything off the MX track, they become far more finicky than the Stark and just as heavy. Plus, they overheat spit coolant all over the place and can be like riding an overheated crotch rocket.

    Very cool!!!🙏

Stark varg support is the worst

Those aren't really comparable bikes though. No offense but I am riding the Stark 8 days a week compared to older bikes. Add e-start of that era to your 92 Yam and it will get fatter quickly --though your right leg will probably be noticeably weaker... :) A 2026 300XCW gets you to almost 250...

Stark varg support is the worst

Compared to other ICE brands that I ride specifically Yamaha and KTM, my Stark MX-1s have been just as good or better across all metrics of reliability and quality of construction and etc. Including the phone. Both my WR450 and my 300xc-w have their share of shall we say "design issues" and...

Stark varg support is the worst

I have owned 2 later model MX-1s ones with the Blackview phone and have had zero issues with the phones or connectivity (outside of normal shitty bluetooth). And besides a couple of mishaps where I didn't make sure the phone was solid in the holder (it flew out in the gnarl) I have had pretty...

7 Support Tickets in 4 Months — Now a Drivetrain Issue Stark Says is Tires. It Isn't.

How much would it be? Seems like a trivial thing? I would try @Erwin P 's suggestion then. You get a lot of suggestions here some might work some not. They are typically not engineered solutions but rather experience based. And that can sometimes be far more helpful.

Agreed on the oil. The rear wheel that is scary. Maybe binding but a somewhat loose rear wheel (below torque value) itself could cause all sorts of undefined rolling behavior including and not limited to cyclic vibration. Not sure who was last touch on your bike, but bikes should not leave...

@seedubb did you post a picture of the oil? Sorry that might be in the other post. Also was that the first oil change were you noted the metal?

Stark varg support is the worst

Maybe, maybe not. It depends how it is caused. A failed or defective bearing or bushing or deteriorating gear may shed with little or no load. If the oil is clear without a load after test even that could give hints about its cause. Right now the OP has a few different issues which may or may...

Stark varg support is the worst

Agreed. Also @seedubb how much metal? Generally there is almost always some particulate on the magnet with oil changes with both Vargs I have owned. Also, there are spots where water and potentially other contaminants can enter that oil enclosure. And water (milky white) and graying near the...

New App update and subscription option

I hate hearing this. Its like going backward to an old 2T mx bike with a powerband hit. Jesus Christ.

Yes there was a similar post about the nightmare of removing the pull arm bearings somewhere around here... ☠️

    Rear suspension play

Yes this is the same problem as the KTM my 300 had the same kind of wear. I used the hillbilly fix and used duct tape. When I regreased my Stark suspension this winter I checked the SA for wear and there was none on my 2024 MX-1. BTW did you regrease your suspension on your MX-1 or did you...

    Stark co. - Suggestion box

Agree 💯. And I too love the bike and yes some things can be improved. On the buttons I think these should be sealed in form fitting rubber boots (I have said this around here and on the other thread before), similar to what they do with control buttons on Japanese bikes like the WR450. Dirt...

    Stark co. - Suggestion box

Not sure I have never had a problem with my gen1. But bluetooth can be a mixed bag of reliability even with the same devices say two of the same pixel 10s. A wired connection is always a good back up. BTW I thought we had a thread like this somewhere else around here?

    Dust Moto

Agreed 💯 . Just a note, I consider performance as overall performance that includes range, weight, power, flexibility/swappability. Performance probably wasn't the best choice of words there. TBH I consider the power nut already mostly cracked by Stark. And you are correct IMHO about those...

    Dust Moto

AI only has the typical data available in public documentation. It is a convenient way to not have to pour through marketing noise but generally has no more information than blather that is out there. My guess is that they are avoid posting anything updated because they don't want a PR problem...

Help Needed Stark varg sm knocking noise coming from the right side

Did you get your bike from a dealer? If so, I would contact them even before I contacted Stark.
