EX, light from headlamp into my eyes

I angled my light down as much as possible, then I even ended up taping over the top half of the light. The best solution is probably some sort of polarised filter that lets the light though in front but not viewed from an angle. Like the privacy screens you get for phones and laptops.

    General Suspension on the EX

I see, yea that's shitty. Weird that Stark would change the specification on the site for a dealer mistake. Dealers can be so dodgy at times. Glad you have it sorted now!

Thinking electric... again... garage full of parts still

+1 to EX. Will make swapping between dirt and SM much less complicated, and you'll be able to use much of what you already have.

    General Suspension on the EX

How much do you weigh though? It sounds like it might have been a mistake to get soft springs to begin with. From what i've seen on this forum and facebook, people are buying softer springs than needed for their weight thinking it will give a "softer ride"

Varg Skugga - for the shadows

The black swingarm and motor covers looks rad. I hope those colours become available for others.

    Tubeless?

Yea thats why I did them as patches too, so that the 3M tape seals completely around each patch independently. I won't be mad if I have to redo them in a few years, it was an easy enough job. The hardest thing as always was getting the tyre off the rim

    Tubeless?

Hi, just resurrecting this old thread cause I changed some SM tyres over to tubeless. It started with a nail in my rear tyre, I stopped cause it felt like a rock was jammed in the tread, ended up being a nail on inspection. I began to slowly pull it out and stopped when I heard air leaking. I...

Solved HELP Power jerking after Drivetrain replacement (GEN2)

yea you can see he bottoms out on some of the harder landings. If you're 85kg and mostly ride enduro and road then the hard enduro is probably best for you. I'm heavier than you and ride track on weekends and commute in SM setup during the week. So i'll get harder suspension eventually. I never...

Solved HELP Power jerking after Drivetrain replacement (GEN2)

depends on his use. I have the hard EX suspension but weight mid 90's in my birthday suit so use the full suspension travel on the biggest jumps at my local track. You'd probably be fine moving from medium to hard then.

    Don's lightweight conversions

Awesome! that sounds like a lot of fun. I guess this could be due to the smaller battery a little further back on the bike. Is the radiator and fins purely for structural integrity? Could cut a little more weight there is seems.

All of this sounds very frustrating. I hope its resolved by the end of the day.

My first post, a trick for mounting the footpegs

Hello, that was also the part of assembly process that slowed me down the most. Ended up getting a hammer and tapping it, progressively harder, until it went in.
