I have run only Votol Controllers and they sometimes have shuddering. But there are certain flux weakening parameters that a manual says to fix that problem, and we have always been able to eliminate it by changing those parameters. Here is a single sheet of what to adjust this out.

If that came with the QS138 70H V3 it is a 428 sprocket. Lithium-king.com has great 520 14T sprockets for that motor. But he could get some 15T made I think if you ask him.

For a first build, I would go with a votol, they are very simple to program. Fardriver is more complicated to program, and I think the EBMX X9000 V3 is really easy to program but expensive. But the Votol does not support 96V
