I believe that our US Stark Chargers are supposed to be able to do 240 or 120. Stark did tell me that the charger won't work well with the 30 Amp RV plug we have at campsites and generators. They said it is limited to 16 amps or something.
I was able to get it to charge by unplugging the connections and plugging them back in, but it would come back after a few days. Stark ended up sending me a new charger under warranty. This one connects very quick and never has a problem.
I just ended up getting my stock charger replaced with Stark under warranty. The new one came wtih a formed plug instead of the screwed on one that shipped originally. They were great to work with, but did not seem happy to hear I had removed the charger from the original case. Anyone hear of...
Has anyone posted an adaptor to go from USA public EV charging stations to a plug that the Stock Stark charger can connect to? I have not seen one yet.
Hey everyone, DISCLAIMER... This worked for me and I live in Idaho near the west coast of the USA. No promises it will work for you. And no tattling on me to the DMV. Be Nice to them and smile a lot. It will go a long way. Idaho has lots of mountains and farms and a few big cities. The...
Dude, I thought about the same thing. It would be a great idea if the center of the battery came out as a separate module. 1/2 the cells could be removable and be a boost for another few hours. Don't need a full battery replacement, and that would allow it to be retrofit for us MX bikes. I...
Saturday, my Alpha MX would not charge. has 100 miles on it. The phone would say that it was charging, but it would never actually start charging. The LED would go from red flashing, to yellow solid and stay there. I got ahold of support, and they just asked me to do lots of check this...
Thanks, that is all very helpful. I also enjoy geeking out on this stuff. Some is a bit above my level as I am an IT Pro and not much real world engineering training. (Other than watching lots of Mythbusters and "How its Made" and the like.) I would agree that if most of my riding was at 20...
I am refering to the spin when on the stand. I have not tried spining it without the chain yet. I will try that. BTW, there is no master link on this chain. Should I add one? I am used to being able to take off the chain easily on my MTB's. I had not expected that the motor would have any...
I have been riding dirtbikes for many years, but not really repairing or working on them. I have been riding Mountain Bikes for just as long and work on them all the time. I like it when my wheels spin freely front and back so I have no drag if at all possible. My Stark is a different story...
i am so confused. I got an update yesterday to 1.0.218 also, but I can't find any information about it. I have already noticed that the battery does not drain at rest as much as it did only last week.
