Thanks, I might do that, preferred a complete kit to avoid ordering from different places. If the Stark LHRB fits the Alta, it may be an excellent solution, but not sure it does.

I suggest you connect the bike to a multitool laptop, just to make sure everything is fine. Mostly battery condition. The number one problem of the EX model (A type battery) is the BMS (electronic board on top of the battery). Motor and controller are solid.

do these two bikes use the same throttle (made by Hirchmann)? are they interchangable?

Alta is the same. Runs continuously from start up until turn off.

From our experience, leaving the charger connected long after the charging process ended Is not advisable. Some of us had BMS failures due to that.

I think you're right. Most bulbs here are 55w. Will try a lower wattage one.
