I think you're right. Most bulbs here are 55w. Will try a lower wattage one.

When you ride the Alta you wish you were on the Varg, Or vice versa? These throttle settings feel the same - response, linearity etc..?

It could be related to out of date BRD boards (these.are the small electronic boards attached to each battery module). They were recalled, but not all bikes were updated before Alta closed down.

My Redshift EX also needs some discharging from 100% in order to work. I never let it charge to full. I connect it to mulritool, so the bike stays on longer. Otherwise it has an auto shutdown after about 15 minutes.

Where I live (Israel), enduro is very popular. most riders here are weekend warriors, riding for 2-4 hours (mostly gnarly rocky hard enduro), and using trailers to transfer the bikes. for these application, the Stark is spot on. I return home with about 40-50% battery capacuty left on my Alta...

Looks like the new KTM Freeride in different colors. I like it, seems like it can do quite well for hard enduro. KTM (owners of Husqvarna) are not doing well, so we'll have to wait and see if these bikes will be sold as planned.

I wish the Enduro model would we lighter. That's my only concern with my Alta. For mx the weight is less noticeable, but for enduro (hard) it's quite a disadvantage. Picking up the bike on rocky inclines is exhausting.
