If the Stark LHRB fits the Alta, it may be an excellent solution, but not sure it does.
I suggest you connect the bike to a multitool laptop, just to make sure everything is fine. Mostly battery condition.
The number one problem of the EX model (A type battery) is the BMS (electronic board on top of the battery). Motor and controller are solid.
As an owner of an Alta for 7 years I can say that the electric motors and inverters are highly reliable. The battery may cause problems. Very few motors and inverter problems in this forum
It does not necessarily mean that the these components will be as reliable in the Starks, but an educated...

It could be related to out of date BRD boards (these.are the small electronic boards attached to each battery module).
They were recalled, but not all bikes were updated before Alta closed down.
My Redshift EX also needs some discharging from 100% in order to work.
I never let it charge to full.
I connect it to mulritool, so the bike stays on longer. Otherwise it has an auto shutdown after about 15 minutes.
