Post here your Stark Varg issues (or not!)

Just got a stark varg, but when it comes time to set up the app, my bike does not show up in the app to connect. I’ve updated the bike and the app, but nothing seems to work if anybody has experienced this, please let me know.

Looks like I'm the next victim of a broke bike and poor support.

Is it true that Stark has 24/7 support? They advertised that in the past, is that still true? If so it's been 3 days with no response to a solid yellow light that is not the charger (tried a second good charger) where the bike won't charge.

So I guess I'm just at the mercy of the company now. Has anyone got anything going regarding a lemon law exchange or money back? It would be for the Americans in the chat. I have the EX which is road legal. This all just seems wrong. The local dealer thats supposed to help out, according to stark, has zero interest in helping me out.

I'm trying to give this company the benefit of the doubt. However it gets resolved, at this point I feel it's fairly unacceptable to have a broke bike this early on (15 hours on it) with this bad support.

The irony is, when I ordered it, the whole time I was reading about people's issues and telling myself it was a small minority, then here I am.

There are a few factory dealer reps and warehouses across the country, see if you can find a contact? You need someone to pop up your bike and do an online analysis, they can tell exactly what's up without a dealer. The dealer is just there to install parts, not diagnose.

Thank you JD. I actually have a telephone contact that reached out when I ordered the bike. I am waiting for a phone call back from them right now. Here's hoping it gets fixed soon. I really don't want to give up on this brand. They have an incredible bike.

I have replaced nearly all critical parts on this bike, including the power inverter, VCU, battery, charging bay, radiator, power adapter, subframe, and other miscellaneous components. You name it have I troubleshot, replaced, and resolved.

I can confidently say this: I did not pay a single penny for these parts, and I performed all the repairs myself, following torque specifications, simply for the fun of it. As a B-class rider, I prefer knowing that the bike is assembled to my standards so I am safe on the track.

As for Stark support, I do not see any issues. All communication has been via email, which is an effective way to document claims. Additionally, any feedback or discussions with Stark have been handled through Google Meet video calls. They provide me with a time slot, and I make myself available. I have encountered zero resistance from them, as long as I supply the necessary evidence and clearly describe the issue. I am sure I have dealt with every stark support and have Anton’s email at hand and cc him for awareness to better the bike for other users.

People have these expectations that the manufacturers are just going to facilitate the whole process. I do not even recall any gas bikes that even offer a warranty program, correct me if I am wrong. Sure you can pick up the phone and make a call to Honda but have fun with the call centers which go absolutely no where; rather watch paint dry.

It’s seems dead with a full charge so I tried to log out of the app made that mistake now phone is completely disconnected fr I’m m the Varg. Did I mention I just bought the bike and have not had a chance to ride it yet. I let previous owner ride it for the final time bike only has a couple hours on it so basically like new 2024 model. I sign into app it says my Varg is off line and still have the red light can you help with this issue, any advice!

Now I believe the app tried to update the bike at the point of me powering it off so the update got interrupted. Make sure the throttle is completely closed when you turn it on.

But I’m staying positive and I will send update ASAP I FB contacted stark future and seem to got ahold of some one important I guess so we shall see if my case gets handled I’m assuming they are trying to to see how to rectify this issue seeing the bike won’t connect to phone and is either in a state of constant power or none at all which is the weird part with red light, charger won’t respond, phone won’t connect to bike since this happened. So I’m curious to see how will they get an update to a bike that won’t connect to the varg phone to receive an update I have done everything possible from the manual and the forums to get the bike on none of it worked. I didn’t want an update I liked the bike the way it was no issues. But I believe the new app update and new location for my bike all played a part in the update causing problems also it was just owner transferred to me and payed off in same hour 2 hours before it was out on charge and never had a problem before that and it was just ridden around the lock with no issues only reason I put on charger like any one with new electronic fully charge it so you can enjoy it. The phone isn't needed for Stark to make contact with your bike, including updates. There is another wifi connection inside. If the phone won't connect, that's leading me to believe there may be a problem with the ownership file? Any recent changes?

Yes did owner ship transfer through varg app day before yesterday. Completed before he did the payoff at the bank on the bike. They app and stark future website are both complete all my info is their address bike info vin and all. I allowed the old owner to ride the bike one last time before I put it on the charge. Dash board showed up normal with all my info it was once the bike reached full charge all this happened hours after the transfer happened.

I think there's something to this. Not likely a coincidence. Did you use a Gmail? I don't think it will take anything else. I'm betting that your registry is corrupt.

At this point I cannot get access to to the varg app on the phone while I was trouble shooting I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it and now it won’t connect to the bike at all! So even if I wanted to try to transfer it to my self using my Gmail email I can’t!

The bad news is this likely your issue. The good news is if you can get support on the phone they should be able to straighten it out. I think you are locked out.

When I go to stark future app is shows the bike and all info under vehicles. I talked to Sam AI and they say ICloud email can be used and that’s what I used when the bike was transferred. Be did it at the bank before we walked into payoff the bike. Entered my email, it sent him a pin that had to be used with in 10 min, he entered the pin and then I signed into the varg app and on my stark future account immediately it populated that the bikes was part of my vehicles in the future website and also on the Varg app all my info was their also! So I’m no sure how it could be corrupted. It is weird I almost feel like the bike was bricked because it was just ridden before the charge with absolutely no issues. I even sent they guy I purchased a video of it charging with phone connected not displaying any issues just charge percentage everything was good until I unplugged the charger from the bike first then the wall and noticed I saw some lights flashing on the model selector I knew I did not want to update the bike because it was behaving properly and I saw no need so I tried to power the bike off am I’m not sure if an update was started or if it’s what your saying could have happened. Maybe stark “Bricked” the bike I’m not sure either way it’s a let down I have not road the bike yet. I’m upset and want it resolved badly

Man I’m disabled vet army infantry vet gov made me unemployable so I don’t have shit to do this was going to give me something to do but I did not think this much shit to do which now seems like hurry up and wait! TS
