Stark co. - Suggestion box

I'd love for the regen to be controlled from the rear brake lever. And then to get rid of the rear brake completely.
That's an even better idea!

Imagine if they made it so you could modulate the regen within the dead stroke of the rear brake lever. It would be so simple to use and great for long loose descents where regen braking would be enough but you want modulation.

My Zero had this - regen while braking, adjustable on the app. I could never make out how much it would regen while braking, but the initial deceleration was impossible to dose when in highest setting.

Using either the LHB or pedal for solo either would likely give a better satisfaction with the higher regen of the Varg.

No because engine brake and actual brake do the opposite for your rear suspension and squad.
This is a very important point that no one ever mentions.
Regen will slow the bike without upsetting the suspension.

Not just the rear but more significantly the front suspension while going down a steep descent. Not compressing the forks and putting pressure on the front wheel with the brake is a major advantage of this bike that no ICE bike can match.

What's mentioned above I can easily do with the controller buttons.
My high regen modes are 85% - 60% - 40% and I go down them as descent flattens or becomes easier.
Bike reacts perfectly.

I also ride a 2T with a foot brake and just that input is causing ~10% higher heart rate and fatigue in the legs.

No in many cases you actually want the rear brake effect, not the engine brake/regen.

With the rear brake the rear gets pulled down. In je corner that is extra grip (the whole reason MX riders use it). Downhill that means less tilting forward and thus less crashing.
Regen/engine brake makes you tilt forward. Less grip in the corners and more tumbling forward on the downhills.

A big advantage of a LHRB downhill is that when it's so steep you have to "walk" it pulls the rear wheel to the ground. With a foot brake or engine brake from clutch slipping and OFF ICE it rotates forwards and makes it down "faster".

I can see why the timer is necessary... Having someone giving the bike an accidental twist of the throttle when they think it's off could send the damn thing to the moon.

But how about this-- have a countdown timer or slowly decreasing bar graph shown on the display. And have it reset it at least hold if the brakes are being held.

Probably one of the easiest requests on this thread and one myself and the AMA has been asking for since the Stark was released 42 months ago. Have a noisemaker on the bike so it is allowed to race in AMA races with ICE bikes. Make it so it can be turned off when riding trails, with buddies, etc. Stark already has a locked "race mode" that limits HP for 24 hours. It could also lock the noisemaker on for 24 hours. I love my Starks, but it's ridiculous to spend 10-14k on a bike and it's not legal to ride in AMA motocross over a sub-$100 optional part that motocrossers would pay to add. Many tracks around me (Idaho, Utah, Nevada) are moving to AMA sactioning due to insurance, so every year less and less tracks are available to race. It's such a sovable problem and Stark keeps stonewalling the AMA, all while releasing videos with Anton saying "I don't know why the AMA won't let us race??"
