Varg - Gear Oil Change

I changed mine after 1 ride (and a water blast) and oil was milky... anyone fixed this issue yet? Thanks
Not sure if anyone has really determined the root cause. I have been using Lucas synthetic gear oil the additives may look a little milky. I regularly flush out the cavity with fresh oil before change and change it often. I doubt whether the water blast is the cause. Maybe add new oil and try it again and see how it is.

The first oil change on my EX. The oil was not milky at all, but quite a bit of shavings on the plug.

What amount of shavings have you guys seen on the first EX oil change?

@leadingedge And I thought mine had a lot of crap! How many hours was that?

I'd take the cover off and have a proper look at what's inside.
Just a couple hours over the required number 🙄.

No funny noises or anything sounding wrong though. I'll keep riding it for a few more hours and do another change to see if it's the same. I'll also ask Stark if it seems normal.

There are no big bits of metal in the oil, most of them are tiny flakes.

For anyone interested, Stark R&D Workshop team has confirmed this to be normal for the first EX oil change.
I would flush it clear with fresh oil to be sure. Ya some clean oil will be wasted into your pan but with that much debris maybe the magnet left some behind. I think the change procedure recommends flushing some through anyway.
