We did some tests MX vs MXR, same riding and style following each other. The MX with the A-pack showed the thermal warning way earlier than the MXR with R-Pack. Is that only the difference in batterytechnic or something else?

Sorry, I never tuned a 4CS. I always bought a used AER 48 für about 500€ and rebuilt it back to steelspring and different damping valves. But i dont know wether there is someone in the US, who does that. only on my EXR, i kept the 4CS. For Enuro it is perfect!

Updates are already switched off! That was one reason, why it did not work! :-) I have a dealer laptop from an LA dealer, because I bought all his bikes and equipement, when Alta closed. Now in the Lockdown, I found the time, to install VirtualBox and Ubuntu. Everything is running well up to the Point: Right click on Setup.py, select "Open in Terminal". There is no Point "Open in terminal" in the list. What is wrong or is there another command to do the Setup of the MT Setup.py...

Update: It is unbelievable: After over 5000kms and 160 hours of MX riding and 400h on the charger, the battery cells are only 0,01 Volts different! Check today after 2 months of Corona stop: Max cell 3,7 Volt, Min cell 3,69 Volt! Best bike I ever had! Cheers WW

The MX fork in my opinion is completely underdamped. Rebound is was too less, even copletely closed. Compression in highspeed is way to low! Thias setup is not for MX, more for Enduroriding. Rebuilding that fork is useless. Buy another one!

Hell Alta owners, I have a problem, when Enduroriding my EXR over grass, woods, mud...! As You can see on the picture, there is building up a lot of mud, dirt, grass, leaves in the cage around the front sproket. My question: Is the aluminium cage important for stability etc..., or can i ride...

The oil always looks clear till now! I changed it 3 times now. BUT You can hear the difference in gearnoise, when You change it! It is way less noise from the 2 gearwheels after the change!

Philip is right: I removed the inserts and drilled straight through. Screw from top, nut down under. The only thing, what You have to produce Yourself are this 45 degree washers from plastic! Works pretty well!

Dont You feel the heavier rims and tyres in a worse acceleration/loss of range? We tried with the Quantya E-bikes 10 years ago to run tubeless and You could feel the better acceleration without tubes very clear! The difference of wider rims plus wider tyres must be several times worse!
