How-To : Install and Use Alta Multitool Software

Anybody know of another source for the CAN-USB adapter? The link @TCMB371 originally posted in the instructions in no longer functional. It looks like the canusb-shop.com is no longer in business. This was the original link to the CAN-USB adapter...

Alta Dictionary -- Acronyms and Technical Terms

Dude! You were defining acronyms, but then you threw “ECR” in there at the end. No fair! I’m calling a foul: undefined acronym in the acronym definition article. You lose 5 Alta-points and must spend 5 minutes in the acronym-free box.

Want to buy Factory Alta left hand rear brake kit

Just a comment, but I had a similar problem last year. It happened just after I switched over to some Midwest Mountain Engineering levers. I liked the levers in general, but I often found that the rear brake was dragging, and the rear brake would overheat from time to time. After some...

video title: World's First Harescramble Win on Electric Dirt Bike

Nice! 5 minute win, even with battery swaps! I am curious how many batteries they had, and what % each lap used. I am sure that sand was pretty draining. Each lap was only 15 minutes. So did they have 5 batteries, or only 2 or three, which they re-charged between laps?

Definitely a sweet battery change system. Nice overall setup as well. Hope there is a part two to the vid.

What is everyone's revised delivery dates?

Maybe the production bikes are literally going to be on a track somewhere. I mean, it is their natural environment after all. Maybe they will let the young bikelings frolic blissfully in the loamy confines of the paddock area with their litter mates before being cruelly separated and sent off...

    2017 MX Suspension advice

To eliminate the skid mark, I ended up adding a link to the chain. This moved the wheel back a bit, and eliminated the rubbing. It also allows you to mount wider tires, since the swingarm widens out farther back. I frankly can’t remember if I ever swapped out the link for an MXR one. I...

    Stock wheel spacers front

Is this it? Found it in a cave a while back. Kinda weird, makes you feel a bit tingly. The good news is my wife pretty much ignores me and lets me work on my dirt bikes when I wear it. Didn't like it at first, but it's growing on me... it's grown quite... precious... Never mind, I'm keeping it.

I know a few forum members have freerides, so maybe they can comment. But these guys certainly made it work from a dryer outlet. Wish they would have given a few more details, though.

    Stock wheel spacers front

Congrats on finding your spacer. I'm sure it is a load off of your mind. Maybe we should turn this thread into a list of places that your wheel spacers might be, just in case future generations face this same trauma. I'll start with some of the places I've found them or suspected them to...

    Stock wheel spacers front

You've got the MXR, right? You only lost one of the two? I "think" the stock spacers from KTM 2016-2020 450 SXF should fit okay. Make sure you get the 22mm ones. You can compare to the one you have left or the drawing above. Worth a shot, anyway. Something like this is only $13 for a pair...

Varg to compete @ British MX championships

OEMs will push the bikes they can sell. Noise and pollution standards will drive them to electric. You already can’t buy new 2-strokes in California, so why would they try to prove they are superior? There’s no money in it. As more jurisdictions ban 2-strokes and eventually 4-strokes because of...

SV software license, potential subscriptions, smart bike ramifications etc

Well, most of the subscription-based features are tired to the phone. And as with most cell phones, if you want to get cellular connectivity, you need to subscribe to the data plan. Not surprised that part is not free.

    Front Axle sizes

Hi guys, Just trying to confirm axle sizes on the MX (4CS) and MXR (AER48) forks. I believe the 4CS uses the older, larger 26mm axle, and the AER48 uses the smaller 22mm axle. Is that correct? Anyone know what the EX/EXR Explorer forks use? Also, I see Liquid Performance has the following...
