At this point a dealer laptop is only worth what a used laptop goes for, and if there is a dongle, that would cost you roughly $200 to put together. So base your values from that.

My best guess is you have an early MX who’s pack would have been replaced under warranty as many early 17’s were for reasons unknown. I assume because of your location that didn’t happen. Something going on there with module 1 P group 3 and module 2 P group 11. To my eye it looks like...

An imbalance could be caused by a number of things. In the case of a broken wirebond, the downfall is the affected P group can be exposed to greater extremes as far as voltages because now that P group has a reduced capacity. It will deplete first, and it will take less time to charge...

Actually I don’t believe that’s correct. That file only tells MT what firmware the bike should have to be current. It’s not what the bike actually has loaded on it.

They are in the range of when there was some manufacturing issues with the battery wirebonds. Lots of bikes were just fine, but the potential is there. If the used bike has the latest firmware and has some time on it since the update it’s likely ok. The brand new bike, even if it was updated...

Additionally one of our favorite Pennsylvania MX practice tracks in the south west of the state has a nice trail system attached and would be very accommodating to a group if anyone is interested in that. There is an area to camp, but it would be all dry camping. Just another option.

I think it has to do with registration issues between the two. On the flip side there are a number of places for registered dual sports only such as Bald Eagle State Park.
