No, I was all ready to put together a group to get the lighting and then all this happened.

I can't stress enough how important it's going to be for all owners to protect their displays. Worst case I think we are going to be able to come up with a replacement display solution but it's not going to be cheap. Trialsmans protector is going to be money well spent.

I've only experienced it when the bars start flashing, and then it's just a peak power reduction I believe.

Once Alta is officially over I believe they would be agreeable to that provided we talk to the right person. The expensive part is already done, it's just having them tell us how many we need to buy to make it worth the trouble. And we could probably get whatever color we wanted too...

From what I have heard, you would be cutting it uncomfortably close at 40 miles, especially if you are talking about a lot of open forest road riding. We have quite a few off road guys here that love these things though.
