Thats really neat that a firmware update can accomplish that. The plug wouldn't be hard, you just need to know the type of 240v plug to match your outlet and a trip to Home Depot/Lowes for some hardware. I'm sure we could help walk you through it.

Actually this was the first I heard of doing a oil change after a few hours. In my boredom waiting for this bike I broke down and read through the 2017 manual online, and apparently I missed that. Actually I didn't see the 1000 hour oil change interval either. Did I mention my attention span...

Hopefully in the future they implement some degree of customization to the maps in these. I can understand them holding off on it here in the bikes infancy, but once things get settled in for them in the market maybe we will see some user tune ability.

Just talking out loud here, but what if they used that button to toggle a adjustable degree of regenerative braking, so you could use it as needed like if you were descending a long grade. Does anyone else think that could be useful?

No, I’m waiting most impatiently. The weather here is still unseasonably cold and still delivering occasional snow storms so that helps. Last I was told it was scheduled to be shipped from Alta on March 30th, so hopefully it’s in route.

Ok, just curious. I’m planning on adding the LHRB as well. Supposedly Alta is designing a kit but it sounds like the foot pedal will be eliminated, so I’m undecided which way I would want to go.
