Is the solution in the programming or an actual physical modification? I do not have an ASI, working on finishing up my wiring harness to start programming my Sevcon Gen 4 for my QS motor. I've just read of the many woes of DVT and that ASI is much easier in comparison but have been turned off...
Not likely unfortunately, I’m curious what the helix angle, pressure angle, and pitch diameter are. Just didn’t know if anyone knew of a tech spec or sheet for them. Trying to make a custom pinion to fit a different motor.
I understand, quite a dynamic duty cycle compared to cruising down the pavement, even dual sport type riding for that matter. That’s pretty impressive for temps on the pack! I’m curious to see how the longevity of it plays out running it that hard but keeping the temps down.
Thanks for the insights! Bummer to hear about the miscommunication on the 40, hopefully they make it up to you with a hookup on the new motor. I reached out to DHX trying to get some of that production here where I work, unfortunately the parts Cameron sent me were not a good fit for us. Most...
Mark, in your post you said something about a misunderstanding on the motor/battery combo. Can you elaborate anymore on this?
Also, I’m very anxious for more info on the Peregrine and Kestral production models coming out. Do you have any insider info you could/would be willing to share? Are the...
I've got a 2007 KX250F I'm planning to use the gearbox on with an electric motor in place of the crank. Will go with a clutch setup as well a setup that does not use the clutch but incorporates an "electronic clutch". Should be a fun project for proof of concept, then the plan is to design a two...
Does anyone know what the continuous and peak power ratings are for the battery, motor, and inverter individually? The battery with 6P84S of VTC6 cells should be around 54kW continuous with the integrated temp sensors. I don't have a clue on the motor or inverter and can't seem to find anything...
On a more long term basis is there much hope? Or are these bikes on a timeline with an expiration date? The cells in the battery should only have like 500 cycles. And I do agree, the battery is the weak link
I know final drive, brake, and suspension are KTM parts. Primarily concerned with the Alta proprietary parts? Anyway of having the battery repaired, inverter/controller, motor, any replacement plastics options?
