    Update with reverse/crawl mode

As I understand it, if the bike does not have a cellular signal when you start your ride it will not record it, I agree this should be "fixed." There is now a timer setting "Time to Shut down," that should fix "prematurely ending rides." Other than those, I have experienced almost no problems...

Stark charger only puts out 3amps now

Yea, I'm guessing they corrected what's being displayed on the app, because I am drawing over 15 amps from the wall, I have the app set to 10, but the app shows 4.1, (or 3 in your case). so, if the displayed value is now correct, you were never really getting 6 amps going into the bike (even...

Stark charger only puts out 3amps now

OK, I did some testing. Slow seems to be locked in at 3 amps on the app now, I can't change it. On 120v, which is more like 125 at my house (I am the only house on a pad mounted transformer), the most I can get is 4.1 amps according to the app, however, it is drawing about 15.5 amps from the...

Sounds like you have it on "slow charge"

Check your Stark Varg charger plug

All you really need to know is that they used black for ground, where as in the US we use green for ground. I assume you mean the MALE L14-30 plug that provides power to the charger. You shouldn't need to cut it, it's screwed on. In this case black is ground and the other 2 wires, white and...

    Enduro Set up?

You didn't ask me, but I will answer anyway :). 260 sounds like a lot, but have you ever weighed your xcw? I have a KTM 300xcw, and with oil, 3 gallons of gas, skid plate, hand guards, tubliss in the back, etc, it weighs 259. The power delivery on the stark is incredible for hill climbs, and...

On the Stark phone, in the Stark app, check your bike's firmware version by tapping on the gear (settings), then tap on "Your bike."

Like @Beagle said, ask your dealer to get you either of these:

    Stark Future Customer Support

Yes, that's great, and I guess we got spoiled by that being the typical case. We came to expect immediate or at least very fast replies and resolutions, but in some cases support has slowed a bit. But still way above other bike makers, who you probably can't even reach.

About to pull the trigger need some advice

You don't need 80hp, you don't even need 60. You can buy a 60hp bike, and upgrade later to 80, but you won't, I ride mine at 52hp, and only use a fraction of the throttle. You should NOT get the bike sprung heavier, get one of the 2 lower choices (65-70 or 70-75 kg) they have the same...

    Enduro Set up?

    1) Replace front tube. I use tubliss on the back with aa VE33S. 2) I am using Cycra pro-bend, I shortened the handlebars about 1/2" on each end and tapped them 5/8-11 for inserts. 3) I weigh about 175 in street clothes, I ordered my bike for the lightest rider, and backed all the clickers out...

Thread Dedicated to Keeping Track of Firmware Versions

Same! So as of July 24, 2024, the app is on 1.0.161(333), and the bike is on 1.0.159. This rev added crawl mode forward and reverse, and more regen. Reverse was a big deal for me. Also Stark says they added more range, more power, and tweaked throttle response, but these are hard to quantify.

Thread Dedicated to Keeping Track of Firmware Versions

I think it would make sense to create a running revision list, Stark should do it, but it's a communication issue, not their strength. Hi Allen, Thank you for contacting Stark. Unfortunately at this time we are unable to share the details of the change log in the updates, however, our team is...

    Stark Varg charger housing kit

I was going to use a 2800, the charger will fit, the top will close with a little extra pressure, but not enough room inside for the cords, so I ended up with the 3800.

    New VARG Software Update.

I would definitely not use it for locking the wheel for transport (nor sprocket maint). I’m sure it is consuming battery to keep the wheel locked. Also, mine does not stay still when locked, it “crawls“ forward very slowly, even with the throttle closed.

    Eliminated phone docking bracket.

I don't think (99% sure) the phone has to be touching the charging pad to change settings on the bike. The phone talks to the bike via Bluetooth, the charging pad, just charges it.
