    My Output Shaft Snapped.

Yeah i may do a little write-up. I'm thinking of taking this opportunity to do a complete rebuild of the bike with all new bearings, seals, and gaskets. Luckily i purchased a few sets of spare gaskets before Alta closed shop. FYI, the procedure is in the Owners Manual. Its a pretty lengthy process.

    My Output Shaft Snapped.

There's an oring on the inward side of the collar as well. So there's 2 points of sealing in that area; the shaft oring and the collar oring.

    My Output Shaft Snapped.

My MXR is right at about 180hrs. The chain slack wasn't tight. In fact, it was a bit on the looser side.

    My Output Shaft Snapped.

Nah thats just the teeth marks from the vice grips i had to use to hold the broken piece while taking the sprocket off. Before doing that the piece was smooth. It was a clean break right at the oring seat.

    My Output Shaft Snapped.

On that topic, I'm probably going to want to replace all of the orings in there. Do we have a source for the large Oring that goes around the motor?

    My Output Shaft Snapped.

Luckily it looks like Liquid has the replacement parts, but i may need some guidance replacing it. For now i'll have to shred my 2004 KX 125. Anyone ever replace the shaft before?

    My Output Shaft Snapped.

So my output shaft snapped today just behind the front sprocket. Luckily the rear tire didn't lock up but rather the bike freewheeled. Chain slack was normal. I was going through a fast roller section. Heres a pic with the boot guard removed. Collar still over the end of the the shaft on the...

    Charging Lights

Careful with that. There was a bug in that version where rolling the throttle forward causes an inverter fault and cuts off your power.

    Charging Lights

Sounds like your bike has the unlocked inverter firmware on it.

    Top end

That's either too little preload on the spring(s) or fork seal stiction, or you have negative pressure in the forks (cracking the bleeder on each one will normalize).

    Code 007 isolation

Use the loader tab instead. Click Open and then select the firmware package (.zip file). After you open the file, if Multitool shows "waiting for target", turn the key off until the blue light on top of the battery stops blinking and then turn the key back on. The process should start after that.

    Water Cooled Batt Pack

Being able to start every moto with the pack at basically early morning ambient temps (60-70F) is a game changer for me. I usually don't hit the thermal limit on the first moto out in the morning (cold pack and cooler air temperatures). Its after rapid charging + higher ambient temps on my...
