I have seen SM riders use rear tires on the front as a way to put on knobbies to some dirt riding. Apparently it works well enough, but I'm not speaking from direct knowledge, just passing along what I have heard.

Batteries made one lap of the course with plenty of margin. We used 2 generators this year, but could have made do with one, if I had remembered to bring my splitter... And, yes, it was fun. As for the video, the GoPro is an amazing piece of equipment for the money, but it sure sucks at giving...

Get the plastics and mounting bolts, bring them to a machine shop and tell them what you want. They should be able to figure it out pretty easily from there if they are halfway competent.

A good price is what the parts are worth to you. Or what the bike is worth to you, minus what you think the cost of repairing the battery would be. A "good price" is entirely up to your perspective, and what you are willing to pay.

I'm guessing you never actually had a chance to ride your bike... No need to actually use the kill switch if you just leave it in the run position. Turn key on, press start button, ride away. Can't get much simpler than that.

Check your safety switches on both brake handles, and the kickstand. If any of those three are sticking it will prevent the motor from receiving power.
